I have been enjoying the following photo sites of North Korea:
This chronicle of a 2008 Vienna-Pyongyang rail journey includes photos of North Korean areas like Ongsan, near Tumen, China. And Eric Lafourge’s photos of the DPRK are completely incomparable from his three trips spanning fall 2008-spring 2009, just before the May nuclear test. The following photo is a bit incongrouous (most deal with people or buildings), but it displays his rather stunning aesthetic:

Nicole Finneman is a highly intelligent analyst and education coordinator for the Korea Economic Institute in D.C. who works closely with Jack Pritchard, who himself has deep experience in negotiation with North Koreans. In addition to running some very intriguing simulations of the Six-Party Talks, Finneman has made available her photos of an April 2009 visit to Pyongyang.

Then we have “Into NK” with a Viennese dude, and another rail journey through the DPRK.
