This weekend I got acquainted with a really fascinating new text by Alexander C.Y. Huang:
For people who can’t get the book, Alexander Huang has a longer article on Sino-Soviet cooperation in Shakespeare stagings, 1950-1979 which may also prove interesting to readers.
Zhang Xiaoyang published a book on the topic in 1996, and my neighboring University of Victoria maintains a Shakespeare in China bibliography.
