Danwei.org recently linked to an English-language article asserting that Chinese crowds at the German pavilion in Shanghai were not only getting out of control, but assaulting German workers and calling them “Nazis.” I expound a bit on the article here, including a taste of the ur-article (golly, it’s in German), and think a bit about what this news means.
