Interview for War is Boring

History is integral to understanding the Chinese-North Korean relationship, yet few journalists seem willing to engage with the origins of the relationship. Kevin Knodell, a former student of mine at Pacific Lutheran University and a talented writer on military affairs currently based in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, interviewed me last month for the web journal War is Boring.
